Team Entry, Payments & Additional Costs
To secure your team’s place at The Edinburgh International Cup, all teams must complete the registration process and submit the required entry fee via our online payment system. Bank transfers are not accepted. However, you may select the “bank transfer” option on the booking form to defer payment. Please note: your registration will not be considered complete until full payment is received.
A payment link will be sent to you regularly until payment is completed. Your registration timestamp will be recorded from the date we receive your entry fee. Team approval is not automatic - you will receive a confirmation email once your team has been officially approved. If your team is placed on the standby list, this indicates either full subscription in your age category or that your application is under review.
Withdrawal & Refund Policy
If you choose to withdraw your team after approval and payment, the registration fee is non-refundable. In specific cases, a credit toward the following year’s event may be considered. If your team is not approved or you withdraw while on the standby list, a refund will be issued minus a 3.9% transaction fee.
Team Leaders & Officials
Each team is permitted a limited number of leaders/officials. Due to child protection policies, there is a cap on the number of team officials allowed at venues across the city. Please refer to our website for full details.
By registering for The Edinburgh International Cup, team leaders agree to our service terms, which include access to the online portal and participation in the event.
🏨 Accommodation Notice
Due to recent changes in the Edinburgh accommodation market in August when the event takes place, teams travelling from across Scotland, The UK, and overseas are welcome to arrange their own accommodation if required, regardless of distance.
Important notice: Teams or individuals attending the event are NOT PERMITTED to stay at Haven Holiday Park unless prior approval has been granted by the Edinburgh Cup team. T&Cs apply, teams choosing to stay at Haven, Holiday Park without prior approval will incur an additional charge of £500–£1000 per team or removal from the event.

🎟️ Spectator E-Tickets
Spectators aged 16 and above may be subject to a small entry fee. Players, children under 16, and coaches enter for FREE.
This fee helps support a wide range of entertainment activities, including:
Arcade zone
Inflatables

⛔ Tournament Cancellation, Changes & Force Majeure
If The Edinburgh International Cup is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control (e.g. force majeure), or due to events not caused by deliberate intent or gross negligence, the organisers cannot be held liable for any damages, expenses, or losses incurred. This includes costs related to travel, accommodation, additional orders, or financial losses.
Under such circumstances, the organisers reserve the right to:
Retain the full registration/accommodation fee for a future tournament, or
Issue a refund minus unrecoverable costs already spent on event preparation.
The Edinburgh Cup accepts no responsibility for injuries or financial losses resulting from:
War or warlike events
Civil unrest or revolution
Government actions
Strikes, lockouts, blockades, or similar disruptions
