The Shepparton Cup will take place from Friday 25 - Sunday 27 October 2024.📆 DATES- Friday 25 October: Twilight group games for teams that are available- Saturday 26 October: Group games for all teams U8-U17- Sunday 27 October: Knock-out Finals for all age groups and U7 gala dayPlease indicate on the form wheher your keen to play on Friday Night or you can advise closet to the tournament. ⏱ TIMESWhen scheduling the games, we make every effort to reduce the waiting time between games so teams are not having to spend more time at the venue than they need to.Matches may be scheduled from:5pm to 9pm on Friday Night (if available)9am to 9pm on Saturday8am to 5pm on SundayGenerally younger teams will not be allocated to commence after 6.30pm.If you have any issues with your teams availability on Friday or Saturday please indicate this in the requests section below. We will do our best to accommodate all requests however it may not always be possible.⚽️ COPA & LIGASome age groups have been divided into Copa and Liga so we can place teams in their appropriate level and make the games more competitive.Copa is for NPL, Kangaroo, Academy, Representitive and A level teams; the Liga is for Wallabies/Joeys and B-D level teams. Teams based in a regional area that play in a non-FV metro competition can play in Liga competitions.Please make sure you select the same level of competition your team will be playing in the 2024 FV winter season when registering.Please note individual Kangaroos/A/NPL players are not eligible to play in Liga competitions unless written permission is granted. Please email registrations@footballskool.com.au if you need to discuss your teams playing level as soon as possible but must be before October 11.Liga teams are required to submit a signed letter on club letterhead from your Technical Director/President or equivilent confirming that the team is of a Wallabies/Joeys or B-D Standard. Regional teams who play in a non-FV metro competition are not required to supply a letter.For age groups with only one category, we may decide to split into a Copa and Liga depending on the number of teams and the playing level of the teams. An official letter from the club will be required as proof for participation in any Liga competitions which must be received by October 11.All teams, with the exception of U7s and All-Abilities, will be required to play Saturday and Sunday. Those teams that are available can opt-in to play games on Friday afternoon/evening, which can be selected on the registration form below. If a category is full, teams will be placed on a waiting list and will only be offered a spot if a team withdraws or additional spaces are created. Payment is not required for waiting list teams until a place is accepted.Before the event begins, refunds will not be provided unless a replacement team is secured.Once fixtures are published refunds will not be provided. 🏟 U13 Boys Teams wishing to play 11v11 Players 13 years and younger can play in the U14 Liga regardless of their grading. If the team has 14 year old players they must not be playing for an NPL club in the 2024 season. This is to allow for any U13 teams that wish to prepare their team for 11v11 in the 2025 season.ℹ️ EXTRA INFORMATION• In order for an age group to go ahead, a minimum of 4 teams are required, should this quota not be reached, we will use our discretion to amalgamate age groups or move teams into the most suitable age group.• Once the teams is registered, you must send the link so each players can be registered by their parent/guardian. All players must be registered to your team and age group, and hold a valid FFA ID to prove age• Boys is also deemed as mixed, girls can play in boys teams⏰ Registrations Close Friday 4 October 2024 unless sold out earlier.Please ensure that you enter your club or academy's playing address and not your personal address as the address will appear on the club maps on the website.️️Here is a link to the Competition Rules👉 Rules of Competition📧 CONTACT For queries regarding the competition please contact us at registrations@footballskool.com.au⚠ ️️Cancellation of the tournament due to force majeureIn the event that the tournament can’t be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the tournament organisers (force majeure*) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence or the tournament organisers, the tournament organisers cannot be held liable by the delegations for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses etc. Under these circumstances, the tournament organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegations after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties.
